believe it or not, i’m launching a website, y’all!
i will be completely honest – i’ve had trepidations about starting a website. my last experience with a website was a blog i started in 2013 to document my “100 days of workouts” journey (i’ll be honest – i don’t even remember how many days of workouts i actually completed!), and i never stuck with it. just like i didn’t stick with my workouts. 🙂 so when i launched my business, astromaeghan, last summer, i knew i’d eventually have to give this venture a full-fledged website. but i didn’t know if i would have enough gumption to *stick with it*.
here we are, over a year later, and my business has grown immensely. people seek me out for readings. and while i’m nowhere near where i want to be with this business yet, i at least feel confident enough in its staying power.
i love astrology. i love everything about its meaning, its history, its power, and its ability to permeate my every waking thought and action. it feels obsessive, yes, but if you know anything about me (or my chart!), none of this would surprise you at all.
launching a venture, especially when it’s primarily a passion, can be very daunting. the last thing i want to do is feel like this is *work*. it brings me so much joy! i don’t want it to become a slog or draining in a negative way. i think that’s why i’ve waited to share something official like this – i wanted to see if, in doing client work, i knew that it’d be something that still made me happy at the end of the day.
and guess what? it does. it really, really does.
so today, the day of the great jupiter-saturn conjunction on december 21, 2020, i decided it was as good a day as any to launch my professional website.
